FiBL

The Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL, https://www.fibl.org/en/) is a non-profit foundation dedicated to research and advisory services in organic and agroecology-oriented agriculture. FiBL focuses on interdisciplinary research, innovations developed jointly with farmers and the food industry, and the rapid transfer of knowledge from research into practice.
The Plant Breeding team is specifically involved in IPMorama (https://www.fibl.org/en/locations/switzerland/departments/crop-sciences/plant-breeding).
Plant breeding makes an essential contribution to the ecological intensification of organic farming and to adaptation to climate change. It can also support agrobiodiversity measures and the diversification of farming systems.
FiBL Switzerland is part of the legume team in IPMorama. We focus on the white lupin–Colletotrichum lupini (the causal agent of anthracnose) pathosystem and on the development of integrated management strategies for lupin cultivation.
