Teagasc

The Agriculture and Food Development Authority, Teagasc is the national public body providing integrated research, advisory, education and training services to the Irish agri-food sector.

Teagasc is a globally recognised leader in developing innovative science-based solutions for the sustainable transformation of land resources into products and services for the benefit of society. We participate extensively in EU Framework Programmes and we have developed bilateral agreements with research organisations in Europe, the USA and New Zealand.

As Project Coordinator, Teagasc is the backbone of the IPMorama project, with a focus on collaboration and compliance, the team will drive the project toward achieving its goals and creating impact across Europe.

Teagasc also leads Work Package 1, dedicated to exploring the genetic foundations of varietal resistance in essential crop-pest systems. This initiative will help build a strong community of practice across the food production chain, promoting agricultural productivity while striving toward ambitious sustainability objectives.
